The automated sales funnel, allows you to automatically organise your contacts and communicate with them depending on the action they take.
For instance, if you sell products for dogs and want to segregate your database into prospects who have hunting and outdoor dogs and prospects who have indoor dogs,you simply set up your sales funnel accordingly and then send out an email to all prospects with a link to an article or page of information on each and they will be sorted depending on which page they visit.
This way, you can direct market products that your customers are interested in and only products they are interested in, by way of an email series with different offers.
You can move them further down the funnel with a selection of actions, such as visiting a page, filling out a form or downloading a file, or buying a product.
You might set up the action of buying a product in the 'indoor dogs' category to move prospects into "indoor dogs customers" and an "outdoor dogs" product to move people to the "outdoor dogs customers" group.
It is completely flexible. You can organise groups in the funnel in any configuration you wish, with each group having it's own schedule of autoresponders or folluw up emails that you create.
