The Developers Behind 60 Seconds - Why we Made a Simple CMS Integrated with a Sales CRM
Welcome and thank you for evaluating our system. My name is +Michael Barker and I'm General Manager at WebXpress Inc., the company that develops and maintains 60 Seconds. I guess you are at our website because you haven't yet found a system that properly suits your requirements!
Well, you're not alone... after three years of frustration and hundreds of websites that were difficult for clients to manage and limited by the CMS systems they were built in, we started development work on our own system. It's hard to believe that nobody had really got it right to this point, but that was our experience.
As a large web outsourcing company and a wholesaler, we have developed hundreds of websites for over 50 web development companies in the USA, the UK and Australia and have come across almost every challenge there is to face and every requirement that is possible with website development. And we could not find a system that came close to catering to those requirements.
What Web Development Companies Want
Our clients, the first world website development companies and agencies basically have two requirements. They want websites completed quickly and to their clients specifications. They want finished projects, satisfied clients and money in the bank. So we needed a system that was flexible, that we could modify to meet any requirement while maintaining speed and integrity.
What End User Want
The end users, our client's clients want a website that does what they needed it to do. They do not want to change or compromise because of the limitations of the system used. They are not interested in that. They also want to be able to manage the website easily without marrying it. Their work time is spent on their business and they do not want to swap their leisure time for more work, learning to maintain a complex website system. So they simply don't do it. Their website either stagnates and becomes innefective, or they pay somebody else to manage it.
The Golden Rules
The key to us making an effective system was to master the combination of simplicity and functionality. Achieving organised complexity This is the foundation of our system. It is simple, feature rich and fast to use. Very fast. That's why we call it the 60 second CMS.
There are three Golden rules for development on the 60 Second CMS:
- It must be easy to use even for the person with minimal computer skills.
- It must always be feature rich, while maintaining that simplicity.
- It must be maximized for conversion. Everything must work together to give the website owner the tools they need to be successful online.
